Central Alabama Community College’s Licensed Practical Nurse Program has been ranked the No. 4 LPN program in Alabama.

The rankings were announced Wednesday by PracticalNursing.org. The schools were assessed on several factors that help illustrate how well a program supports students towards licensure.

CACC’s LPN Program Director Dr. Melenie Bolton said she was excited to learn of the ranking.

“This is wonderful news,” Bolton said. “Working towards licensure and doing well in testing is one of the things that we stress. To see these numbers and to know that we rank among the best in the state is something that shows we are accomplishing what we set out to do when a student enters the program.”
